My November Favourites

Dr Miracles | Leave In Conditioner

The dry and cold weather can really work a number on my hair if I don’t keep it conditioned in between washes, so I’m always trying new leave in conditioners. This particular one is blended with vitamins A, C, and E, which is great for soft and manageable hair. It’s lightweight and moisturising, and works well as a detangler too. I’ve finished my bottle now, and considering the price and how well it works, I’ll be repurchasing it soon.

Camille Rose | Curl Marker Curling Jelly

This is my second bottle of this product, and I foresee it becoming a regular in my routine. Though I prefer to stay from gel or gel-like styling products, this works beautifully for me. It doesn’t weigh my hair down or make my curls feel crunchy. My hair retains its natural volume, whilst remaining defined and frizz-free throughout the day. A small pump of this goes a long way, so one bottle lasts a few months, which is lovely.

Weleda | Skin Food (Light)

I’ve mentioned this moisturiser a few times, and it is still holds up to all my praise. If you have dehydrated or dry skin, this cream is definitely a must have. I use the light version, but if you have very dry skin try the original, as that is heavier. This product keeps my skin nourished, hydrated and looking beautiful all day, and sits well under makeup. It definitely shines bright amongst moisturisers.

Beauty of Joseon | Glow Serum & Glow Deep Serum

Beauty of Joseon is a popular brand amongst Korean skincare users, and I decided to give two of their popular serums a try. The Glow Serum focuses on glowing and radiant skin, enriched with Hanbang and 2% Niacinamide, helping to fight acne and large pores. Whilst the Glow Deep Serum focuses on skin brightening & anti-pigmentation. It also contains Hanbang (a traditional Korean herbal medicine,) but is infused with Rice Bran Water & 2% Arbutin, both of which tackle hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone.

They feel hydrating and light when applied and, work well mixed together, not leaving my skin sticky or feeling saturated. I’ve been using them every morning for the last month and they’ve definitely kept my face looking bright, and soothed any hormonal acne I usually got on my period. I don’t want to give my full thoughts on them till they are finished, but I have high hopes for both and enjoy using them.

O’Keeffe’s | Working Hands Hand Cream

If you are someone like me and struggle with perpetually dry hands, you need to stop what you are doing right now, and purchase this cream. I was at my wits end when it came to my hands before I found this, and since, I have already bought a backup bottle and suggested it to a few of my friends. This hand cream is extremely effective. It’s formulated to create a protective barrier on the skin's surface, locking in moisture and keeping your skin hydrated, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. My hands have never looked so soft and smooth and, I only need to reapply a few times a day, instead of every hour as I was with other creams. It may not be pretty or aesthetically pleasing, but it is an absolute game changer for the healing and caring of your hands.

L’Oreal | True Match Nude Plumping Tinted Skin Serum

This is just such a lovely skin tint. It sinks in beautifully and gives me a luminous, even looking glow that is both soft and lightweight. This is a product for those who prefer natural looking coverage, or simply don’t like the heavy nature of most foundations. I’m personally in the latter category, so I’ve been using skin tints for every day make up for a while. As someone who has quite dark hyperpigmentation, it does an incredible job of blending and hiding it despite only being a tint, which is why it’s in my favourites. Though messy to use – I am hoping that changes in the future – it has definitely become a go to product for me.
